Dictado Ideal
Dictado Ideal is an instructional approach that integrates explicit teaching, reflection on language, visual memory, guided self-correction, and connections between Spanish and English. It is designed to support students in developing Spanish orthographic knowledge in a meaningful, rigorous way. This approach has been developed and examined through expert review and ongoing classroom inquiry. We continue to study its implementation and refine our understanding of how it supports bilingual learners.
